The Roots hit the stage of their 9-to-5 at “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to perform the single from “How I Got Over” with Yim Yates of My Morning Yacket Jacket. There was a band, an orchestra and even a choir in the performance. If that doesn’t make you want to watch then I don’t [...]

Even though Luda performed the same song on “‘Letterman” the night before, what he did with the roots was even doper. For some reason the flow hit me in the head when he started rapping. I always knew his flow on that song was nice but it was at its finest last night. Luda turn’t [...]

Captain Kirk, guitarist for The Roots, seems to love holidays. So much, that he feels you should make sweet, sweet love to your woman on Groundhog Day. That was yesterday so I hope you all got it on in celebration of Punxsutawney Phil.
The dope thing is that I actually like the song.

A lot of rumors are flying around the late night scene which, as an undiagnosed insomniac, I’m very into. Well, Jay aired out the dirty laundry cleared all of the confusion, with his point of view, last night on his show. Looks like he’ll be taking back the “Tonight Show,” Conan gets a $30-million-buyout and [...]

This was really dope to watch last night. The Mos-flow is crazy but, when he’s live, it’s even better.

I’m happy with The Roots’ continued success. Their last record, “Rising Down” was amazing and was well-received by most critics. They are a HUGE part of the success of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and still keep to their roots -no pun intended. There have been questions about them crossing over and I don’t think [...]

Diddy made an appearance on LNJF last night to promote “Making His Band” — which is actually a good show if you like live music — but he delved into the album, among other things, with Fallon.
Diddy kept me well-entertained while watching this in a different state of mind last night. There are a [...]

The Roots – “How I Got Over”
We heard The Roots crew perform this joint — the title track to their ninth album — live on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” now here’s a nice mp3 version for you to feed to your iPods.
I’m feeling this joint. “Rising Down” was a great album and I’m expecting [...]
