The video for Wale’s next single, “Pretty Girls,” hit “106th and Park” this afternoon with a lot of beigeness so he put out a video for his Nigerian homage, “My Sweetie,” directed by tabi Bonney. One of DC’s most popular go go bands hooked up with Rik Cordero for this video featuring Wale. The song samples some of the directions Beyonce gives at the end of “Get Me Bodied” and I’m sure there’s a woman watching this patting her weave somewhere.
