Wale featuring Bun B – “Mirror”
Here’s a joint of Wale’s “Attention Deficit,” dropping Nov. 10. I heard an album sampler and I liked what I heard. Watching Wale is like watching 50 Cent. Let me explain. I knew about 50 when he was nobody. Then, I started hearing him on the radio and it was like hearing a friend on the radio because he was an artist that wasn’t famous. Make sense. I wish Wale much success. That said, no more from his album will be posted.

This is like a mash-up of stop-motion animation and cartoon animation. Animated and designed by Donato Sansone, paper is folded and unfolded to make a movie. The concept of the story is a fight that turns into a decapitation, that turns into an interesting journey of a man’s head (both), then the tables turning at the end.

So he puts out a diss record. Here’s a radio rip (above, CDQ below) from DJ Kay Slay premiering this song on Hot 97 earlier (applaud Hot 97 for having an iPhone app). The records is way too hard. Seriously. Jay doesn’t usually respond to such records but he might have to say something about this one. Beanie really goes pretty hard and makes some pretty interesting claims.

The interview is much more insightful than the actual diss record, Beanie speaks for about 25 minutes and reveals a lot of things that I had no idea about. Out of all the people that have came at Jay for not holding them down, I feel for Beans the most.
