Wow. A lot of things about people that I didn’t know in this record. Most, I did, but a lot of things are almost so unbelievable that I want to fact-check Mr. Jean. We’re warriors!

*I can’t vote in Haiti and I have to hear what Clef can bring to the table but I will say that Haiti does need new leadership –in every sense of the word– and a Clef cabinet may be interesting.

Hmm… I guess Usher couldn’t get this song cleared for “Raymond v. Raymond,” but don’t worry, it made the EP, “Verses,” with Ciara instead of Esther Dean. It’s a shame that it gets subjected to a mere EP. This track is dope. Now, kids, thank Ms. Civil.
On August 24, Usher releases the follow up to his successful Raymond vs. Raymond, the Versus EP. The Jay-Z featured track has been talked about for minute now though. Earlier today, the radio rip of the Polow Da Don produced track made its rounds on the Internet. Here’s the explicit version. Jay continues his run of impressive guest verses with another one here (and another Illuminati mention for those who care about that stuff) and Ester Dean plays substitute until the final version with Ciara is released.
Big K.R.I.T.’s ‘Children of the World’ is dope, video makes it even better

Listening to this made me feel like K.R.I.T. was next to me reciting the lines. He keeps it so hip-hop. It’s great to see southern artists with substance come from unlikely places –i.e., not the major cities.
After hearing K.R.I.T. on “Glass House” off Wiz Khalifa’s “Kush and Orange Juice” I decided to give his music a listen and he’s dope. Feel this.

Statik Selektah x Drake – Bollywood Flow
Now, this is dope. Selektah took the vocals from Drake’s a capella freestyle on Westwood and made it into a track. Applaud him.
Trey Songz – “Take you Home”
Trey is set to release a new album, “Passion, Pain, and Pleasure” this September. This may be a new joint off that, but don’t quote me. I still think it’s a little early for him to come back out with another LP but I can almost guarantee that this record gets pushed back to 2011.
