Should We Feel Sorry For Gary Coleman?
Aug 14th
Gary Coleman, better know as That-kid-that-says-whatchu-talkin-bout-Willis, is the new face of a New York Fries ad celebrating their 25th anniversary. The ad is supposed to convey the fries’ freshness after 25 years of business, but is Gary Coleman the best fresh-thing that Zig, the Canadian ad agency commissioned to the campaign, can find?
Coleman looks anything but fresh in this ad. His skin looks like leather, the ‘fro looks closer to a flat-top than anything else, and the clothing looks more lumberjack than “Different Strokes.” “After 25 years some things are still fresh,” is what the tagline reads but I, for one, am not buying it from Arnold. You need more people.

Just when you thought Pimpin’ Curly was gone, he’s back and curlier than ever. I hope Vitamin Water had nothing to do with this clip. Seriously.k
PETA Asks T.I. to Get Naked
Jun 10th

PETA reached out to T.I. behind bars and offered him the opportunity to joint their “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign. Umm, I’m sure that T.I. has rocked a fur coat during his career. Oh, yeah, I remember now! There was a little song called “Rubberband Man” where Mr. Harris and a man by the name of Sean Combs “thugged” it out in coats made of woodland creatures. I doubt PETA saw this video.

Kanye Energy Drink
Apr 9th
Kanye is on a major paper chase and is tapping into every facet of life possible. Music, clothing and, now, energy drinks. When you think emergy drinks endorsed by hip-hop artists, you think Crunk Juice or Booty Sweat (see “Tropic Thunder”).
Kanye offers his own spin on the energy drink. He and along with GURU Energy Drink are coming up with an organic energy drink for all those health conscious people who need a pick-me-up.
“I express myself through music, fashion, art and design and that’s why I am excited to collaborate with GURU; because the brand values what I value, and I can put what inspires me into this new product,” Kanye said.
Rocapads (from Season 1 of “Chappelle Show”) seems more and more possible everyday.
