Kanye West’s “Glow in the Dark” Book
Oct 9th
Well, this is just dope. Kanye West is releasing a photographic book that takes you to last year’s Glow in the Dark Tour. Not only does it give you an onstage look but the book takes you to the moments that make the moments with behind the scenes pictures as well. There will also be a CD to supplement the book that contains unreleased instrumentals from the show.
This book, the tour, Kanye in himself, tells a story and I think that’s another creative nuance that makes Kanye a great artist. He’s an artist. No matter how crazy he gets in the media, you can’t take away the fact that he does great work. Get it at Amazon on Oct 20.
Are you ready to glow in the dark? Crash landed alone on an unknown planet for the entirety of his Glow in the Dark set with huge space scapes behind him, Kanye West takes you on a musical and visual odyssey that no antihero has taken you on before. This deluxe volume represents another leg of that voyage, giving you a gorgeous photographic ride through West’s life, both on and offstage, as well as into the intimate technologies of his creative process with top visual artists of today. The instrumentals are tracks from his set remastered to echo John Williams’s famous score (”Jesus Walks” is Vader’s theme). In personal sketches and reference imagery, 3-D models of the holodeck-ian stage, and costume designs (including his Grace Jones–inspired outfits for opening act Rihanna), West once again expands a medium and triumphs in the artist’s epic struggle to be creative. With a CD including previously unreleased instrumentals from the show as well as an interview with tour collaborator Spike Jonze, the book is not only a memento of one of the most successful musical performances of the year, but it is also an experience all its own.

I was wondering what he was going to talk about with Hoda and Kathy Lee. Mr. Cent and his co-writer of his book, “The 50th Law,” Robert Greene, spoke about the book. Remember when 50 Cent used to make albums?
"Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion & Architecture"
Jun 6th

I’ve been hearing a few things here and there about this book and found extensive information and a picture of the cover. The price is what’s expected of LV but I haven’t paid this much for a book since my sophomore year of college. Hypebeast, where this was spotted at, has a summary and an interview with Yves Carcelle, Chairman and CEO of Lewis (c) Rick Ross Louis Vuitton.
A powerful entity in the world of fashion, Louis Vuitton’s reach over the years has extended much beyond its humble beginnings as a luggage brand. In its latest book release, LV’s unparalleled reach over numerous facets of society and design are outlined in its self-titled book, Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion and Architecture. The book’s contents delve into the brand’s history and association with numerous personalities from the world of art, architecture, design, photography and fashion. A cornerstone of creativity, the Louis Vuitton book features 400 pages filled stunning imagery and will be available in three languages, English, French and Italian. A special deluxe version will release on September 1st, 2009 at LouisVuitton.com and at Louis Vuitton stores and features artwork by Takashi Murakami. The book is priced at $130 USD. Below is a synopsis of the book as well as a three-question interview with Yves Carcelle, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton.

Diddy = The Contract Devil
Barack Obama in Spider-Man Comic
Jan 9th
Seriously.

Being that President Obama was a Spider-Man collector as a youth, Marvel decided to thank him with a bonus in their 583rd issue of “The Amazing Spider-Man.” The special Inauguration issue starts with Peter Parker snapping photos of the event when he notices two Obamas. He swings into action and punches the impostor, Chameleon, and saves the day. Obama then gives Spidey the fist-jab and is sworn in.
