[Video] Super Bowl XLIV Kick-Off featuring Jay-Z

This was a huge look for hip-hop. I can’t say that I wasn’t excited when I saw this. An orchestral mash-up of Jay-Z’s “Run This Town” opened Super Bow XLIV –a game that the Saints took 31 – 17.

10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger

gof digest cover

So, here’s the latest cover of “Golf Digest,” which features a Photoshopped image of President Obama getting some golfing assistance from Tiger Woods. I believe I saw this cover on the HuffPost a few days ago, but didn’t think anything of it. Reason? That was before we found out that Tiger has been Wilt-Chamberlin’ing women left and right. I just find this a little ironic and totally hilarious now. That is all.

[Video] Kobe defines FTW

FTW is a commonly confused acronym. A lot of people seem to believe that it stands for “Fuck The World” but not around these parts. So, for the record, FTW means “For The Win.” Though, it is a sports phrase, it can be used in every day speech.

For example, you make a hot dog and have just enough ketchup to make it the best meal ever, that’s FTW. If the bank is packed and a new line opens up and the teller calls you over, that’s FTW. You get the point. If the Miami Heat weren’t familiar with the term before , with 3.2 seconds left, Kobe Bryant made sure he defined it for them.

The only other shot in recent memory that’s almost as good as this one is Lebron’s game-winning miracle during game 2 of last year’s Eastern Conference finals with 1 second left. But, of course, we can’t forget the man who made FTW –and Craig Ehlo– infamous; Michael Jordan. Continue to watch both.
